Rachel Zsembery, AIA, LEED AP
President, Chief Executive Officer, Bergmeyer
Rachel Zsembery is the President and CEO of Bergmeyer, a multi-disciplinary Design Collaborative of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and brand strategists.
Rachel directs design and strategy teams that research, develop, and implement experience-rich environments. She currently serves on Bergmeyer’s Board of Directors, the Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts Dean’s Council, and is the Chair of the Town of Arlington, MA Redevelopment Board. Rachel has served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of PAVE Global (an educational non-profit enabling young talent to build careers in commercial design), as a Board member of SHOP Association and the New England Chapter of the Retail Design Institute, on the Editorial Advisory Board of VMSD Magazine, and as the Co-Chair of the Boston Society of Architects’ Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Network, Rachel’s commitment to diversifying the pipeline of new talent in the profession has led her to establish scholarships with PAVE and the Hip Hop Architecture Camp and in partnership with the Boston Private Industry Council for summer high school internship programs at Bergmeyer. Rachel is a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture.
CIDIE Role: Rachel provides invaluable strategic direction to support the growth and development of the CIDIE Standard. She also champions CIDIE adoption across the architecture industry.
