Practicing at the intersection of architecture and interiors, Stacey Crumbaker brings a unique perspective and expertise to the design of educational facilities. With more than 15 years of experience, she has cultivated her practice as a response to human experience and deeply believes in design's ability to shape community. Bridging between the disciplines of architecture and interior design, Stacey has been an advocate as a volunteer for stronger ties between not only architects and interior designers, but also the communities they serve.
Prior to being part of the IIDA International Board of Directors, Stacey served on the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter’s Board of Directors. Stepping first into the chapter VP of Advocacy role, Stacey's efforts focused on strengthening connections in her local design community, cultivating leadership in members, and advocating for the interior design profession. She fostered IIDA’s advocacy programs for advancements in education, design excellence, legislation, accreditation, and community outreach. Following her service as the Northern Pacific Chapter VP of Advocacy and Chapter President, she participated in IIDA’s national Advocacy Advisory Council, representing emerging professionals in the development of IIDA’s national advocacy agenda. In 2016, she was the recipient of the IIDA Distinguished Leadership Award, recognized for her on-going dedication to interior design advocacy.
